This is a photo of me, Christina Sauer, your teacher. I was drawn to Pilates because I too suffered from chronic pain. I share my knowledge of anatomy along with so many ways to keep exercising while working through pain.
Christina has changed everything for me. I am stronger and more confident. She meets me where I am when I have pain that comes from scoliosis. She is understanding and encouraging. Weekly Pilates with her helps me walk daily and I have more endurance when I travel.

WHAT HER STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THERAPEUTIC PILATES SESSIONS…

Balance Body Certified Pilates instructor with over 15 years experience.

Movement is my passion and keeping my youthful energy is my goal! I found Pilates due to chronic pain and I am a firm believer in the power of the method to aid in pain management. Just like anyone, I have days where chronic pain is present but carefully choosing exercises and strength focuses help me reduce my symptoms.

I specialize in helping adults 40+ in Spokane area to reduce pain, improve mobility and stay active through Pilates. My therapeutic sessions cater to osteoporosis and scoliosis where we build strength without adding to any current symptoms. I love challenging those who are free to explore movement without pain.

My certifications in Barre, Bodhi Suspension System and Oov along with my Pilates Comprehensive training gives endless variety of exercise options that keep my students engaged.

Teaching is very rewarding but outside the studio, you will find me doing the very things I encourage my students to do such as getting outdoors and doing fun activities; mine happen to be paddleboarding, hiking, horsebackriding, and snow shoeing with my husband.
