Frequently Asked Questions?
What is Pilates like at your studio? If you are pain free, I want you to feel comfortable moving so we just move on the machines and we slowly introduce some challenges. I want your muscles to build up the endurance to where you may not be able to complete the required repetitions for the exercise. If you are in pain, after a brief chat, I slowly introduce exercises that allow you to feel relaxed then we take breaks when needed or we skip exercises that don’t help the way you feel. Pilates at my studio can be done using the Reformer Tower Unit, Exo Chair, Springboard, Arcs, or Bodhi System.
How should my body feel after sessions with you? Most of my students love their first session; they feel happy to experience they can do so much more that they thought. Some have even added more workouts at home or added more walking to their weekly routines. Doing Pilates in our sessions helps them experience less pain in areas that used to be noticeable.
How often should I do Pilates to achieve my goals? Most of my students commit weekly at 2x/week. Your progress will depend on YOU! You can also benefit from my video on demand platform to keep you working on important fundamentals and give you ideas on how to challenge legs, arms, back, etc. Adding more opportunities to move just gets you stronger which improves your daily life.
What should I wear? Comfortable moving joggers or workout pants with a tank top or t-shirt. Please wears sticky socks on equipment if possible or just regular socks. Please bring your own hydration. Shoes are removed before using the equipment.
Do you take insurance? No, I do not work in conjunction with medical insurances.
